The BCI Western Africa Chapter stands at the threshold of significant opportunities & challenges. Encompassing countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, The Gambia, and Cameroon, this subregion boasts a highly youthful population, burgeoning commercial centers, and immense potential for startups driven by digitalisation.
The Chapter will strategically focus on several key areas: membership engagement, thought leadership, community engagement, diversity and inclusion, digital transformation, sustainability & resilience, and professional development. Each of these areas is crucial for the Chapter’s growth, influence, and impact on both its members and the broader community.
Our key objectives:
- Raising Awareness: Assist in provide sensitization of stakeholders about the emerging risks in the region and the importance of proactive measures.
- Building a Network: Creating a robust network of professionals, organizations, and institutions that can collaborate and support each other in building resilience efforts.
- Skill Development: Encourage professionals to participate and engage in training and obtain professional BCI qualifications.
- Promoting Resilience: Utilise best practices that enhance the resilience of communities and organizations against potential threats & tackle future challenges.
